We want you to feel safe paying for BharatLocal services. This policy explains when refunds apply and how to claim one.
TL;DR
- ✅ Premium subscription: 7-day full refund, no questions asked
- ✅ Yearly Premium: pro-rata refund within 30 days
- ✅ Lifetime Premium: full refund within 14 days
- ⚠ Property Insights one-shot (₹999): refund only if unused
- ⚠ Featured / Boost / Sponsored: refund only if not yet active
- ❌ Legal consultation / Registration: no refund after lawyer/service contact
1. Premium subscription (₹99/mo, ₹999/yr, ₹4,999 lifetime)
- Monthly (₹99): Full refund if requested within 7 days of first payment. After 7 days, you can cancel to stop auto-renewal but no refund for the current month.
- Yearly (₹999): Pro-rata refund if requested within 30 days. After 30 days, no refund.
- Lifetime (₹4,999): Full refund within 14 days if you haven't actively used Premium features (Doc Verify, AI Assistant beyond 3 queries, etc.).
2. Property Insights one-shot (₹999)
Refund only available if you haven't yet opened the unlocked insights panel. Once you view the negotiation card, recent sales data, or 5-year forecast, the unlock is considered consumed. Contact support@bharatlocal.app within 24 hours.
3. Boost / Featured listings (sellers + builders)
- Refund only available if the FEATURED ribbon has not yet been activated
- Once active, the boost runs to completion (7/15/30 days)
- Partial refund if our service goes down for more than 24 hours during your boost period
4. Sponsored bids (builders)
Unspent campaign balance can be refunded to your original payment method within 48 hours of campaign pause. Already-spent impressions are non-refundable.
5. Builder CRM (Pro ₹3,000/mo, Premium ₹15,000/mo)
- First-month refund (full): if requested within 14 days of subscribing
- After 14 days: no refund for current month, but cancel anytime
- Annual prepayment: pro-rata refund within 30 days
6. Legal consultation (₹999) and Registration (₹4,999)
These services involve a third-party lawyer / registrar. Once they've started work on your case, no refund. If you cancel before any contact, full refund within 48 hours.
7. Property Tax subscription (₹199/yr)
Pro-rata refund within 30 days. After 30 days, no refund for the current year.
8. How to request a refund
- Email support@bharatlocal.app from your registered phone's email
- Subject: "Refund request — [transaction ID]"
- Include: Razorpay transaction ID, reason for refund, screenshot if helpful
- We respond within 2 business days
- If approved, refund processed to original payment method within 5-7 business days
9. Disputes
If we decline your refund and you disagree, you can escalate to admin@bharatlocal.app for review. We aim to resolve all disputes within 14 days. Beyond that, you may pursue chargeback with your card issuer or arbitration per the Terms of Service.
